Promoting Empowerment to the Community
At our organization, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to make informed decisions about their future. That is why we provide educational services to give those in our community the knowledge and skills to make positive decisions for the future.
We are committed to empowering individuals by providing them with resources and education to build their confidence and gain valuable life skills. Through our work, we strive to promote self-empowerment, enabling individuals in our communities to take control of their lives and create a better future for themselves.
Rebuilding Lives in Memphis
At MINC, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to change your life starts by satisfying basic needs of safety, security, and resources for change.
That’s why we work to provide housing options and resources that are tailored to meet the needs of those who are struggling with homelessness and poverty.
Our goal is to create sustainable, safe, and supportive living environments for individuals and families in need. We strive to provide access to resources that will empower them to rebuild their lives with dignity and respect.
Who We Are
The mission of the MINC Community Development Corporation is to revitalize the Flower Garden Subdivision by providing programs and services that promote empowerment, self-sufficiency, education, housing, and economic development.
MINC was founded in 2011 to promote and provide awareness and tools to underserved communities for healthy lifestyles and wellness.
We are a non-profit organization of volunteers working tirelessly to achieve that goal.
Early in the founding of MINC, we realized the importance of focusing our scope. We have since focused our programs to include but are not limited to:
- Connecting with governments and citizens alike.
- Restoring affordability and increasing economic vitality.
- Partnering with similar communities with similar ambitions.
